Many families have children or elders who need care during the day. If your regular dependent care options are not available, the options below may be of help. Please review the details and pricing information to see if any of these options may fit your dependent care need.

YMCA childcare – Some locations offer childcare services for essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contact your local YMCA for details and pricing information. Visit YMCA.net to find your local YMCA.

School-sponsored childcare – Some school-sponsored childcare programs may remain open in some states for the children of essential employees, healthcare workers and first responders. Contact your child’s school for details and pricing information, if this option is available in your area.

Urbansitter childcare – Urbansitter offers options for finding babysitters and nannies in your area. Visit Urbansitter.com for details and pricing information.

Eldercare Locator – The US Administration on Aging offers this public service to help connect older adults with a variety of services including caregivers. Please visit the Eldercare Locator website and search by your zip code to find out what services are available in your area.

United Way – Along with many other valuable resources, http://211.org may offer caregiving resources for some areas. Search by your zip code to find resources available in your area.
