Jeffery Drummond

Jeff started his career with Discount Tire in 1994 and was promoted to Store Manager in November of 2002. From there, he managed multiple locations around the Chicagoland area. His passion for helping people and caring for his employees has always been a strength for Jeff as he continues his Discount Tire Journey. Jeff reached Sales Awards from 400k at multiple locations. He then decided to move himself and his family up to Rockford, IL in 2014, where he achieved Sales Awards all the way up to 800k in a month.  

Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Corey, and his daughter, Tiara. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, hunting, and shooting. Jeff has become a staple in the Rockford area with his customers who drive from all surrounding areas to see him. He is a true Servant Leader to his people and the other managers. He has become inspirational to our people as he continues to work on himself and his team to be better every day.

Matthew Kane

Matthew Kane started his Discount Tire Journey in January of 2012 at NVL06 while still in high school. By November of that same year, he knew he had found a home! He decided that he wanted to become an Assistant Manager and start working for a coveted Store Manager position. 

The Nevada region was growing in the northern part of the state, so Matthew answered the call and moved to the Reno area to help open NVL05 in Sparks, Nevada. After three years of hard work, commitment, and dedication to our Mission and our Strategy, Matthew was promoted to Senior Assistant in 2015. Four short years later, found Matthew back in the Las Vegas area where on May 28, 2019, his dream of becoming a Store Manager came true as he was handed the keys of NVL10!  Now at NVL03, Matthew is a member of the prestigious President’s Club with Sales Awards ranging from 450 to 650.

In November of 2023, Matthew married the love of his life, Sierra. Together, they enjoy their dog, golf, traveling, and playing/watching sports.

Brian Symcox

Brian started his career with Discount Tire in 1996. Now, 27 years later, we are proud to have Brian as our 2022 MOTY.

Brian quickly realized that he had found a home in Discount Tire and immediately started developing what would become life-long friendships. Brian was instantly drawn to the brotherhood and the Who We Are Discount Tire culture.

Brian’s quick wit, Servant’s Heart, Can-do Attitude, and desire to be “Bruce-Like” would serve him well in his quest to be the very best mentor and manager possible for his people and customers. This would support his career well, relative to the What We Do part of the culture and business. These characteristics, along with his drive T Be the BEST, have helped Brian to reach sales of 1.4 million in June 2023.

Brian’s dreams are to be the best husband and father possible to his wife, Eva, and two daughters, Reid and Blanca. He strives to show his daughters what it looks like to give loyalty to a company that has not only developed him as a leader but has allowed him to be the husband, father, and role model he always dreamt of being; all made possible by truly caring for others and their dreams.

As a manager, Brian wants to continue to give back to the company and people he loves and follow this path wherever it might take him.

Art started in July 2001 as a Tire Tech, eventually working his way to becoming a Store Manager in June of 2010. Art continues to develop his skills in utilizing DTMS to help develop his team. He has help grown the greater Portland, Oregon area with Assistant Managers throughout multiple stores. Art has a work ethic that stands above others. He genuinely cares about people and is dedicated to meeting and exceeding customers’ needs, whether they be internal or external.

Art has been married to his beautiful wife, Gina, for six years and have two fur babies, Geno and Vinny. Art enjoys golfing at sunny resorts and on their spare time, he and Gina enjoy taking their two dogs to dog shows throughout the year.

Lenny Madrid

Lenny Madrid began Living the Dream in November of 1996. On April 1st of 2010, Lenny was promoted to Store Manager of AZT 08. Lenny quickly began building a reputation of being very disciplined as he led various crews at AZT 08, AZT 06, AZT 07, and his current store AZT 09. As a manager, Lenny displays a Servant Leader mindset for his people, while also demonstrating Bruce-like behaviors every day, never settling for good enough. This has earned him a seat on the Arizona region’s Leadership Council for the past several years.  Lenny has been a selfless leader, always looking for ways to help the region. He has led many initiatives and new pilots, including his most recent adventure: Discount Tire Mobile Installation, where he consistently is a top producer in the company. His determination to be the best has helped him achieve Sales Awards ranging from 400k to 1.1 million, joining the ranks of the prestigious President’s Club.

Lenny continues to hold himself accountable first, aligning to our principles and standards while modeling our Best Practices for his people. Because of his dedication to his people and always going first, his people are able to deliver on our Strategy of Inviting, Easy, and Safe, while always doing the right thing for each other and our customers. This does not happen by accident and is something Lenny prides himself on.

Lenny is a family man who loves spending time with his wife, Audrey, and his three beautiful children, Isaac, Maile, and Noah. Lenny enjoys classic cars, golf, guns, family outings, and also spends time on the racetrack.

Please join the Arizona region by congratulating Lenny on his amazing accomplishments and being awarded the 2023 Manager of the Year award. As the saying goes, “once a MOTY, always a MOTY.”

Jessie Devisscher

Jessie Devisscher began his Dream with Discount Tire in the Dallas Region in April of 2000, after serving eight years as a military police officer in the Army. Because of Jessie’s work ethic, structure, and high level of expectations, he was promoted to Store Manager in October of 2008. Over the past 15 years, Jessie has managed TXD 04, 27, 53, 70, and is currently managing TXD 76 in Tyler, Texas. He has achieved Sales Awards from 300k to 1.1 million.

Jessie is a true Servant Leader who works, leads, and lives his life through our Principles and Standards, Operating Philosophy, and 5 Life Lessons. He always places the needs of his team first and commits his time to making sure his people are growing and achieving their personal and professional Dreams.

Outside of work, Jessie runs a Ministry, Master Hand ETX, that helps people with projects around their house. During his free time Jessie can be found working on his project cars, as he has a 1966 Ford Mustang that he takes out to car shows and currently is working on a 1986 Chevy C10. Along with project cars, Jessie has a small farm and loves spending time with his family; wife, Tonia, and his two children, Brooklynn and Payton.

We are super proud and honored to have Jessie represent Dallas as the 2023 Manager of the Year!

Andrew Davanzo

Andrew's journey started with America's Tire as a Technician at CAN24 in Rancho Cordova, CA in March 2008. He had the privilege of returning to CAN24 as the Store Manager in April 2018.

His journey as a Store Manager has led him to run CAN24, CAN50, and his current store, CAN20. He is a proud member of the President's Club and has achieved Sales Awards from 200K up to 1+ million dollars in sales.

Andrew is a Servant Leader who always looks inward to hold himself accountable first before his people. He consistently gives the credit for the success to his people. Andrew has always been an early adapter in our region. He is a member of the NorCal Leadership Council due to his ability to effectively use the leadership tools within the Discount Tire Management System and our Vision and Strategy, while leveraging Mr. Halle's 5 Life Lessons. Andrew is focused on Making Dreams Come True at home and for his ATC family.

When he is not at work, Andrew enjoys cheering for the San Francisco 49ers and going to Disneyland with his amazing wife, Shannon, and their three children, Ayden, Aria, and Zoe.

Ryan Manzke

Ryan Manzke's journey with Discount Tire began in October 2002 as a Tire Technician at MNM 02 in Eden Prairie, MN. His dedication and passion for the challenging yet team-oriented environment led him to grow within the company. Ryan honed his leadership skills while working at various Twin Cities stores, focusing on personal coaching and embracing Servant Leadership.

His talent was recognized, and he swiftly climbed the ranks, becoming a Senior Assistant Manager in June 2007. In January 2013, Ryan earned the title of Store Manager at MNM 04 in Brooklyn Park, MN, later joining the President's Club after managing MNM 01 in Burnsville, MN, and MNM 17 in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Demonstrating his adaptability and leadership, Ryan relocated his family to Dubuque, IA, to open a new market with IAN 02. Under his guidance, the Dubuque team achieved remarkable success, earning a 550k Sales Award within two years.

Driven by a desire for growth and new challenges, Ryan returned to the Twin Cities, assuming the role of Store Manager at MNM 03 in Plymouth, MN. Under his leadership, the store's sales soared to $1.35 million in 2023, showcasing his commitment to excellence. Ryan's dedication to Discount Tire's values and culture earned him recognition as a Leader with Project Imagine and helped redefine the Service Professional Role and dual Senior positions.

Outside of work, Ryan treasures time spent with his wife, Anugrah, and son, Luqman. He enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and traveling whenever possible, balancing his professional success with a fulfilling personal life.

Melissa Breid

Melissa embarked on her Discount Tire journey in July 2015, assuming the role of Regional Office Manager for the Heartland Region. In the span of the last eight years, Melissa has seamlessly evolved into the backbone of the region.

Melissa possesses a remarkable ability to cultivate and nurture relationships effortlessly. Her colleagues hold her in high regard, appreciating her for both her professional competence and compassionate nature. Ben Coffield

Ben Coffield embarked on his eBusiness Sales Agent journey with Discount Tire in November of 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout his tenure, Ben has consistently demonstrated his dependability and strong work ethic, earning him the reputation of a reliable employee. His exceptional leadership skills and ability to mentor his team have garnered him the respect of his colleagues, positioning him as a leader within DTD. Ben's commitment to serving others and assisting them in their career development led to his recognition as a Servant Leader. In August of 2019, he was promoted to the role of Assistant Manager.

As Assistant Manager, Ben has continuously challenged himself and his team, embodying the qualities of a disciplined Servant Leader. He remains steadfast in his dedication to working through his team to achieve remarkable results.

Ben's actions and behaviors serve as a shining example for others. As a leader in the CEC division, he consistently upholds the principles and standards outlined in IOOGA and Our Vision, To Be the BEST! There is no doubt that those who have the opportunity to work with Ben witness personal growth and improvement. His unwavering discipline and refusal to settle for mediocrity align perfectly with our Mission of Making Dreams Come True.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ben is a devoted family man. He cherishes his role as a loving husband to his wife, Molly, and a caring father to their two boys, Jaxon and Maddox. Zach Ratliff

In August of 2013, at MIA17, Zach started his journey with the Discount Tire Family. He progressed from Apprentice Technician to Senior Assistant, which he was promoted to in May of 2016. Then, in June of 2018, Zach was promoted Store Manager of MIA 17 and was very successful in his new position.

In December of 2019, Zach and his family decided to become pioneers and open the first Discount Tire store in the state of Pennsylvania. Since opening PAW01 in February of 2021, Zach has set store sales records from 200K to 1M. He reached the 1M mark in November of 2022.

Zach's actions and behaviors always demonstrate the Principles and Standards that define Who We Are and What We Do. He is fully committed to continuous learning and embracing all the tools within the Discount Tire Management System. Zach has the capacity to capitalize on his strengths and can identify and make the most of his opportunities, embracing change head on. Without a doubt, we see the potential in him to grow well beyond where he is today.

Over the last couple years, we have seen him grow into a true leader in the Great Lakes region. He challenges his team each day to execute Best Practices at the highest level to deliver a world-class experience for every customer that calls or comes into his store.

Zach is a wonderful father to his three children, Zander, Nolan, and McKenna. His beautiful wife, Nicole, supports him and his dream to Be the Best.

Anthony James

AJ's journey with Discount Tire started in May of 2004 as a Tire Technician at NVL14. AJ was promoted to a full-time Assistant Manager in September of 2007 to NVL15. In 2010, AJ moved to Orange County, transferring to CAL25 to be closer to family. AJ's desire to be the best and live through Mr. Halle's 5 Life Lessons led to his dream of becoming a Store Manager being realized in April of 2022 at CAL20. In the first few months of AJ's manager career, he was faced with some adversity. AJ responded to the business climate with urgency through a strong adoption of the Discount Tire Management System, to grow his people and his business. AJ built trust and modeled the actions of a Servant Leader by investing into his AORs heavily. He supported them by consistently modeling, teaching, coaching, and mentoring each of them to create ownership and accountability within their areas of the business. This ultimately led to consistently delivering on Our Mission of Making More Dreams Come True. The people of AJ's store grew quickly and in return, continued promotions and dreams began to be realized with every AOR level in the store achieving a promotion. AJ's investment of providing his team with the tools to be successful, through the understanding of the DTMS, led his store to achieve record setting months. Accomplishing Sales Awards of 600k- 750k.

AJ and his wife, Austine, share two children together: their son, Rhett, and daughter, Hazel. When AJ isn't making more dreams come true within his store, he spends his time outdoors in beautiful Huntington Beach! His hobbies include, riding BMX, hiking, and shooting. We are very proud of AJ and his accomplishments. We are honored to have AJ represent the Central CAL region as our 2023 Manager of the Year!

Brian Miller

Brian started his journey with us in February of 2008 as a Tire Technician. A short time later in June of 2009, he got promoted to an Assistant Manager, then Store Manager in 2016. Throughout Brian's journey, one thing was very clear, he had a gift for working hard. This hard work has led he and his team to the 650k club level.

Brian is highly respected by his peers and fellow co-workers for his business insight and mentorship. He is also a part of our Leadership Team within the region, helping to build upon our culture to ensure making more dreams come true. Brian has a deep understanding of LEAD, DTMS, and leads change within the region. People are better because they work with him.

When he is not being such a rockstar at work, he is being an awesome father and husband. He enjoys spending time on the water with his lovely wife, Chelsea, and his two beautiful children, Braydon, and Mackenzie. We are so proud of Brian for what he has and will accomplish moving forward.

Sean Duns

Congratulations to Virginia's 2023 Manager of the Year, Sean Duns of VAR 04, Colonial Heights, VA. Sean began his Discount Tire career in Central Cal region as a Technician in July of 1999. Sean was promoted to full-time in April of 2000. Sean moved to Virginia in 2017 as a Senior Assistant Manager and was promoted to Store Manager in April of 2019. In May of 2020, Sean took store VAR 04 and hit Sales Awards of 500k and 550k in 2021. In 2023, he hit 600k.

Sean works hard to create strong teams that look to him for Servant Leadership and has an overwhelming love for Discount Tire. He genuinely cares for his people, their development and journey, and is devoted to paying it forward. Sean is keeping Discount Tire in the family. His son, Ashton Duns, is an Assistant Manager at VAR 01 and his other son, Amrhen Duns, is a Tire Technician at his store.

In Sean's free time, he loves spending quality time with his wife, Angela, of 20 years and his children Ashton, Amrhen, Kaden, and Karsyn. Sean is a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoys golf, taking care of his yard, spending time with his family, and is always ready for a good time. Congratulations, Sean, on your well-deserved award and keep representing the Virginia Region!

Dave Reiner

Dave started his journey back in 1987 and went full-time in 1988. He was promoted to Store Manager in 1998. His journey as a manager has taken him to a few stores: CAS 10, 17, 19, 33, 47, and his current store CAS 38. In 2023, he accepted Sales Awards for CAS 10 of 750k and 800k, along with CAS 38 awards of 900k to One Million. He currently is the only San Diego manager who has hit the $1M mark TWICE.

When Dave took over CAS 38, he knew he had new challenges ahead of him. He looked inward first to ensure he was prepared to help his people in his new store. He invested the time, effort, and energy to Get Better for himself. He then reinvested the same time, effort, and energy into his team so that they all got better together. Dave is Servant Leader who demonstrates 'Who We Are' by living Mr. Halle's 5 Life Lessons every day.

Dave's fun time is - in his words - 'JEEP TIME'. He and his wife, Kim, spend time off-roading in their 'ORANGE' Jeep and UTV side-by-side. San Diego would like to thank Dave for his 35 plus years of service and congratulate him on being selected as the 2023 Manager of the Year.

Tory Law

Tory Law is a Servant Leader who has been a part of the Discount Tire Family for 12 years. He has worked hard at giving his best to learn from his mistakes and truly understands that he never will arrive…even with this award.

He Pays it Forward to help others by caring for them and continues to get better at cultivating them to be their best. With a high level of integrity, this manager continues to seek to gain knowledge and grow responsibly.

Daily, this manager works at conditioning his mental and physical toughness to be the best he can be. On the business side of this award, results matter. For example, his store had one of the highest CDIs in the region for 2022 and he continued to improve this year to be #1 in the region. Happy Customers matter! During Tory's tenure as Store Manager at UTS02, he achieved 500k and 550k. As the current manager of UTS18, he and his team have had continued success achieving 600k- 700k.

Tory loves spending time in the mountains running trails, snowboarding with his wife, Maresa, and camping with his boys, Max (10), and Owen (7). Tory loves basketball and is a huge Utah Jazz fan!

We are very proud to have watched this manager grow and continue to Get Better year over year and can't wait to see what success he and his team will have in 2024!

Nicolas Perez

Nicolas (Nico) joined the Discount Tire Family in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Assistant at TXH52 in May of 2020. In January of 2022, Nicolas made the jump from Texas and moved to the brand-new Gateway Region. He played an integral part of opening the Gateway Region. Nicolas displayed the qualities of a true Servant Leader and was promoted to Store Manager in April 2022 at MOS03. Nicolas has guided his stores to achieve club levels from 200k-400k. Nicolas has taken on opening a brand-new store to the Gateway Region - MOS09, and we know he will lead them to success.

Nicolas embodies creating an Inviting, Easy, and Safe environment for his customers and his employees. Nicolas truly lives Mr. Halle's 5 Life Lessons, and because of his Can-do Attitude, he can mentor and Make More Dreams Come True at MOS09.

Nicolas and his beautiful wife, Kayla, just welcomed their first baby, Alaina, into the world on September 20th. Nicolas enjoys watching the Houston Astros, jamming out to country music, and spending time with his coworkers! Congratulations to the Gateway Region's first Manager of the Year: Nicolas Perez!

Miguel Cabral

Miguel began his career in San Diego, CA on February 1, 2004. He later transferred to the Heartland Region to achieve his DREAM of becoming a Store Manager, which he achieved in June 2016. During his career as a manager, he reached eight Club Member Awards ranging from 500k to 850k which included the President's Club.

Miguel embodies a 'Dream Centered Lifestyle.' He models Servant Leadership by being there each day teaching and training his people, helping them grow within the DTMS. Miguel has a lot of humility; he knows his peoples' dreams and goals. He constantly challenges his people to be the best every day, he promotes critical thinking and shows this through his actions and behaviors. He is an early adopter; he embraces and implements change quickly this is why Miguel is considered a leader within the Heartland Region.

Miguel his married to his beautiful wife, Lupe, and has three kids, Jayden, Nicholas, and Sofia.

Randy Williams

Randy began his career with Discount Tire in October 2002 while in high school. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communications from UNC in 2008, he decided to pursue Discount Tire as a career and became and Assistant Manager in May 2009. Randy was soon promoted to Store Manager in June of 2012 to COD06. He went on to manage COD25 and COD32 as well, before making COD30 his home base. Randy has achieved sales records from 400k through 1.2M.

As a member of the Leadership Council, Randy has established himself as a regional leader and change agent. From the implementation of Bayside, to blazing the trail in air check execution, Randy embraces and leads change. He is a strong communicator and never hesitates to go first. Randy is very coachable and is not afraid to ask for help when needed. He is a student of his profession and remains current in all aspects of the business. Most recently Randy has committed to mastering and implementing DTMS, and his most recent results reflect that effort. He is a critical thinker, listens to understand, works through his people by leveraging AOR, and inspires those around him to grown and achieve new heights. Randy is engaging, charismatic, and earns the trust of those he works with and serves.

Randy is married to Sarah, and they have two beautiful daughters, Ellie, and Lexie. In his free time, Randy has many passions including wakeboarding, jet skiing, snowboarding, hanging out at the lake, camping, four wheeling, and spending time with his family.

Joey Montano

Joey began his career as a Tire Technician in Santa Fe back in 2002. Joey was a fast study and added value to his team nearly immediately. Joey exemplifies Who We Are and lives his life both professionally and personally through the 5 Life Lessons. Because of this, he was promoted to full time in August 2004. Joey continued perfecting his abilities through leadership, building trust and great relationships, and was promoted to Store Manager of NMA09, a brand-new store in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on December 5, 2010. There, Joey has led his team to amazing sales records, achieving a 950K award this year! Joey has earned the respect of his fellow managers and was asked to join the New Mexico/West Texas Leadership Council in 2020. Joey has made so many Dreams come true for so many people over the years through his coaching ability and because of this, he has helped to strengthen our culture and our region. We are blessed to have him as a part our organization.

Joey married his wife, Maya Oliver, on September 9, 2012, and they have two beautiful children, Benjamin, who is 8 years old, and Cora, 5 years old. In his free time, Joey enjoys mountain and road bicycling, camping, grilling and smoking meat, spending time with his son, Benjamin and daughter, Cora building Legos, gardening, and playing family board games. His parents also own a cattle ranch and Joey is still involved by helping them with their business.

Anthony Bell

Anthony began his career in Florida in January of 2004, transferring to the Carolina region in May of 2012. Anthony's positive, competitive attitude, and focus on developing his people led to him being promoted to Store Manager in April of 2016 in Columbia, SC. He has managed SCC08, is currently at SCC06 and has achieved club levels from 350k to 700k. He joined the President's Club in 2021 and was awarded Manager of the Year in 2022. Anthony's humility has earned the respect and trust of his peers and he is on the Carolina Regional Leadership team. Anthony is quick to adapt to change and is a great student, which means his people follow his lead and do the same, allowing them to grow and develop with the changing needs of their business.

Anthony has been supported his entire career by his wife, Donna, whom he met a few weeks before starting with Discount Tire in Florida. They have been married 16 years. He has three daughters, Kenley 13, Sloane 6, and Piper 3, and is very supportive of their various activities and busy schedules. Anthony and Donna are supportive of all the employees and their families, and both are great models of Servant Leadership. They enjoy their annual family trips to Disney World, and the many dance competitions they attend in support of their daughters.

Anthony has quickly developed in his leadership, business insight, and accountability supported by his passion for people and his dedication to their growth and success. We are proud to have Anthony represent the Carolina region as our 2022 Manager of the Year!

Matthew Peter

The 2021 Manager of the Year Award was presented to Matthew Peter. He is someone who embodies the Discount Tire Culture and exemplifies what it means to be a Trusted Expert. His unwavering determination and perseverance in keeping 'safety first' proved to be essential as he helped lead the company through the COVID-19 pandemic. His dedication and expertise played a significant role in keeping Our People and Customers safe. He was also responsible for the development, implementation, and rollout of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). This included defining and socializing the SQDC Scorecard and Key Metrics, leading the efforts to operationalize and set standards, and developing the SQDC Improvement Boards. He manages within the Operating Philosophies of IOOGA. His integrity shines and is reflected in the relationships he has built within his team, with business segments, and regional leaders. He defines 'work hard' by ensuring that the safety of Our People and Our Customers is never compromised.

Justin Anderson

Justin started his career with Discount Tire company as a Tech in 2003 while he was attending automotive school. After graduating, he went to work for Nissan for a couple of years before coming back and being promoted to Assistant Manager in 2010. In 2017, Justin was promoted to Store Manager. His early adaptation to corporate initiatives and organization within his store has led him to have success and garner the respect of his peers. Justin has exemplified Bruce-like characteristics by being rigorous, not ruthless, and caring for and cultivating his employees through DTMS thinking that has yielded the current success he is having.

Justin is also a husband and father to his wife, Kristin, and sons, Wesley and Miles. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, playing soccer, and working on cars in his garage at home. We are honored and privileged to have Justin Anderson represent our region as our 2022 Manager of the Year.

Kyle Green

Kyle Green began his journey as an Assistant Manager with Discount Tire in June of 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona. Kyle has always been known as a dependable, hard-working employee for Discount Tire. His ability to lead by example and coach his team helped him to earn the respect of his peers and position himself as a leader in the stores he served at. Kyle was recognized as a Servant Leader who was dedicated to helping others in their careers in July of 2017, when he was promoted to Store Manager.

During Kyle's tenure as Store Manager, he has managed AZP 16, AZP 41, AZP 42 (500K), and recently took on the challenge of running AZP 39. He has pushed himself and his people by being a disciplined Servant Leader staying focused on working through his people with DTMS to achieve incredible results. During his time at AZP 39, he and his team have achieved 900k to over 1 million in sales.

Kyle's actions and behaviors continue to be an example for others. As a leader in the Arizona Region, his actions and behaviors truly show that he lives though the principles and standards in IOOGA and Our Vision, To Be the BEST! There is no doubt that people who work with Kyle get better. His focused discipline and “never settle for good enough” attitude support our mission of Making Dreams Come True.

Kyle is a devoted family man. He enjoys collecting (and trying) rare bourbon. He is well versed in all sports and cheering on his Denver Broncos. He is a loving husband to his wife, Jonna, and their two children; daughter, Sutton (age 3), and son, Archie, born this past September.

Josh Stubbe

Congratulations to Minnesota's 2022 Manager of the Year, Josh Stubbe of MNM 07, Bloomington, MN. Josh came to Discount Tire in April of 2011 as an Assistant Manager of our Eden Prairie location. Josh's strong desire to perform, along with his tenacious attitude, quickly led him into a Senior role three years later. To no surprise, Josh excelled in this position and was promoted to Store Manager of MNM 26 in January of 2017 and has since then managed two other locations.

Josh has proven himself time and time again; helping stores regain profitability and working hard to create strong teams that look to him for Servant Leadership. He is very hedgehog focused and has an overwhelming love for Discount Tire. He genuinely cares for his people; their development and journey and is devoted to paying it forward. His Sales Awards of up to 1.3 million help to prove his success but do not keep him from striving To be the BEST!

In Josh's free time, he loves spending quality time with his wife, Naiya, and their 9-year-old son, Leo. They enjoy boating and golfing during the summer and cheering on the local MN Vikings! Congratulations Josh, on your well-deserved award and keep representing the North Star, proud!

Tony Non

Tony began his journey with Discount Tire in Vancouver, Washington in November of 2006. Tony was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2008 and then promoted to Senior Assistant in 2012. Tony's hard work and servant mindset lead him to be promoted to Store Manager in July of 2017 at ORP 06. He currently manages ORP 01. Because of his passion for his people, he has earned Sales Awards from 550k-1 million.

As a Store Manager, he is a great role model of Servant Leadership and the Discount Tire Management System. He challenges himself and his team to be better, while supporting fellow managers in any times of need. He exemplifies Who We Are by working hard, being Bruce-like and the father of his store. Tony's behaviors and actions align to our Vision Statement, To be the BEST! His life and store are led through our philosophy of IOOGA, and that is how he has been able to consistently deliver on Our Mission of Making More Dreams Come True.

Outside of Discount Tire, Tony loves traveling and vacationing with his family. What Tony enjoys most during his free time is spending with his beautiful wife, Victoria, and his three amazing kids, Kinley, Elsie, and Cooper.

Nick Barraza

Nick's journey started in 2006. After developing his skills as a growing leader by understanding our Vision and supporting IOOGA, Nick was promoted to Senior Assistant to CAN 17 in 2008. Nick continued to grow while developing those around him and was promoted to Store Manager at CAN 27 in August 2012. Since this time, Nick has managed CAN 09, CAN 32, CAN 02, CAN 15 and currently manages CAN 28 in Elk Grove, California. By maintaining his focus on being the best, Nick has led his stores to achieve several club level awards ranging from 400k-750k and is a member of the prestigious President's Club! We are very proud of Nick and his continued success!

Nick demonstrates his abilities to leverage the DTMS by engaging people and developing critical thinkers who understand what it means to deliver our Inviting, Easy, and Safe strategy. Nick is a highly respected leader amongst his peers. Because of his Can-do Attitude, Nick was elected to join the CAN Regional Leadership Council and serves as a Regional Safety Coordinator. Nick is passionate about making more Dreams come true and shares this through his extended leadership within the region.

When he is not at work, you can often find Nick with his amazing wife, Kelly, and his three children. In addition to being a skilled leader, Nick is a skilled chef who enjoys to BBQ and cook for his family and friends. He enjoys the outdoors, camping, shooting, and fishing with friends and family.

Meredith Van der Walt

Meredith officially joined the Discount Tire/America's Tire family in the San Diego Region in July 2017 as the Regional Office Manager. But if you ask her, she'll tell you she felt like part of the family when she began hosting the Regional Parties and working with the San Diego Regional Staff in 2009. By observing and interacting with the employees and staff, she quickly realized that Discount Tire is a special company.

Meredith is the epitome of a Servant Leader and truly walks the walk every single day. She embodies the culture and IOOGA and inspires those around her To be the BEST! We are very proud to call the 'Mighty M' our Regional Office Manager of the Year!

Meredith is married to Adrian, and they have two teenage sons, Tate and Caden. Her spare time is spent watching her kids play sports, cooking and baking, and watching the Padres WIN!

Michael Sarauer

The North Star is honored to share our 2021 Manager of the Year - Michael Sarauer.

Mike began his Discount Tire journey in 2009 working as an Assistant Manager at the Stillwater, MN location. After working through a few stores and really developing his passion for IOOGA, Mike was promoted to Senior Assistant in 2013. Mike's drive and dedication to becoming a Servant Leader over the next few years granted him his first store as Store Manager of MNM 01, Burnsville, MN in 2015. Since then, Mike has continued to grow himself to be “Bruce Like” and has managed, mentored, and cultivated some excellent teams; catering to his many sales achievements, up to 1.1 Million at his current Midway store!

Following Mr. Halle's 5 Life Lessons, Mike is not only grateful for Discount Tire but also his lovely family. His wife, Nicole, is a great support and when Mike is not pursuing his Dream in the store, he loves spending time with her, their two boys, Ethan and Hunter, and daughter, Abigail. Mike is a present father and enjoys anything that has to do with the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
