I was born in Little Rock Arkansas and grew up in California and Delaware. I attended UW Madison for my undergrad and UT Austin for my Masters in Post-Soviet and East European Studies. I spent a semester as an exchange student at Moscow State University as an undergraduate and worked as a security guard at the US Embassy in Moscow before attending school for my Masters.
I got into computers during the dotcom boom and became interested in computer security after investigating a breach of a web hosting development environment. I've worked in cybersecurity in a number of industry verticals including telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing and travel. My last role was as a principal security architect with Hawaiian Airlines. In my free time I enjoy traveling and tinkering--building custom watches or vintage mountain bikes. My wife Perla and I are empty nesters, with four children (Luther, Howard, Noah and Kate) out doing their own thing. I am also a recently minted grandfather as of August.
I'm excited to join Discount Tire and look forward to helping secure the enterprise.

Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
I am excited to announce that Cory Carrillo has joined Discount Tire as the Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) in the Identity & Access Management team. Cory brings extensive experience in the retail industry, most recently with Circle K Stores, where he successfully led multiple large-scale infrastructure and telecom projects. Cory will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of identity management solutions. He will focus on enhancing our security protocols, streamlining user access processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Cory enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. He loves spending time with his wife, Alexandra, and their Great Dane, Theodore Roosevelt. Additionally, Cory has a passion for discovering new wines, so feel free to share any recommendations with him.

Over the last 19+ years, Ashley has built her career in the corporate sector along with her military service in the United States Air Force. She has worked with a diverse group of organizations as a consultant designing, building, operating, and transforming their cybersecurity programs. During her service in the Air Force, she worked on the “front lines” to protect classified and unclassified networks. She joins us from her most recent position, President, and Chief Information Security Officer for CISO Global, Inc. where she led a full-scale transformation of the company’s cybersecurity program.
Ashley is a classically trained pianist starting at 12 years old. She supports the Make-A-Wish foundation and is also passionate about organizations that advocate for animal welfare.
Ashley will be sitting adjacent to the Identity Team, so please stop by and give her a warm, Discount Tire family welcome.

Terry began his IT career way back in 1995. A proud alumni of ASU, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. At some point along the way, he attained the highest level of Microsoft certification, to become a Server Administrator. In 2005 Terry came on board Discount Tire as a member of IT, focused on email administration. A few years later, he began duties as an SAP Security Administrator with the Information Security group in 2013. In his free time Terry enjoys weight training, catching butterflies with his biceps, scaring small children, and playing RPG video games.

Cherif Debloc is an experienced IT consultant and DevSecOps Engineer. Before joining Discount Tire, Cherif worked for one of America's best IT consulting firms. He has a background in Math and Computer Science, years of experience building resilient and secure Cloud infrastructure and IT automation, and has guided clients such as the federal government. While he has learned a lot from his large portfolio of experiences, he is looking forward to being in a more collaborative work environment. When Cherif is not dabbling in cutting-edge technology, he enjoys watching and playing soccer with friends and family and exercising.

In 1999 Michael joined the Discount Tire family as a Warehouse Technician. Michael’s interest in security grew while successfully deploying many of our security solutions, before formally joining the Information Security Team in 2012. With over 17+ years of progressive skill development and a proven track record of delivering timely results, Michael has worked his way up to Senior SAP Security Administrator. Michael also enjoys working on and driving his 1965 Cobra replica, flying radio controlled aircraft, and spending time with his beautiful wife, Susan.

Logan has been the Security Administrator for Discount Tire since 2018. He was born and raised in Phoenix and joined the Navy out of high school. While in the Navy, he served on the USS Tarawa and the USS Makin Island in San Diego, CA. He met his wife in San Diego, Valerie, who also served. They moved back to Arizona in 2015 and have two sons, Logan Jr (6) and Levi (4).He has obtained multiple IT certifications, CISSP, GCIH, and GPEN, and actively participates in the cyber security community, mentoring and learning from peers through a local cyber range.He actively participates in Autism Awareness campaigns and has a personal goal to run a 10k in April 2023 for Steps for Vets. He enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing with his family in his spare time.

Thank you for this great opportunity to collaborate with you all. I have broad experience in Identity and Access Management technologies and witnessed enterprise security evolve to be an important aspect and an organization's top goal. In my consulting background, I was fortunate to be presented with many learning opportunities and put them into practice with enterprises that have global presence and many audit control requirements to satisfy. My bachelor’s in computer science, master’s in business studies, and 16 years of diverse experience with various types of businesses and their complexities helped me take up challenging technical roles working with niche tools and technologies like Okta, Saviynt, SailPoint, CyberArk and many more.We relocated from California to Arizona in 2019 for a huge Cybersecurity assignment with American Express. Two years of living here we (Siri (wife) and Meira (Daughter 6 years old)) fell in love with the state and decided to settle here. I enjoy Gardening & Swimming, and watch Formula One, Cricket, and Basketball games when my daughter lets me.

I have years of experience delivering large, complex technology projects with a passion for cyber security, cloud computing and enterprise messaging. Prior to joining Discount, I served as the Sr Manager of Global Identity & Access Management at Circle K. There I was responsible for the workforce and customer identity programs, including roadmap definition and execution. This work included the implementation of a new customer loyalty program, mobile application and supporting digital experiences built on the Okta identity platform.I obtained a BS in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State and spent over 5 years working in the Discount Tire stores as a tire technician. On a more personal note, I am an Arizona native residing in Scottsdale with my wife Kayla, and two kids – James (4 years) and Hailey (1 year). My hobbies and interests include mountain biking, fishing and working on my 1990 Jeep Wrangler.

My name is Ali Sangerman, and I'm thrilled to join the Discount Tire family as part of the security team. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my enthusiasm for becoming a part of this incredible organization. With a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, I have spent the last couple of years immersed in the cybersecurity space. Prior to that, my experience in Information Technology spans over twelve fulfilling years. While my professional journey has largely been set in the healthcare industry, I have acquired a diverse range of skills and experiences that I'm eager to bring to Discount Tire. One of the things I enjoy about my field is that there is always something new to learn. Whether it's diving into research to understand the latest threats or collaborating with teammates to implement a new security solution, I am fueled by the constant evolution of technology and its challenges. Away from the keyboard, my life orbits around my family. We love spending quality time together, whether it’s playing board games, outdoor adventures at the park, thrilling days at theme parks, or simply cozying up for a movie night at home. Work-life balance is important to me, and I'm excited to integrate into a company that values that as well. During the interview process and my on-site visits, I was immensely impressed by the company culture at Discount Tire. The team dynamic seemed very supportive, and everyone I met was incredibly welcoming. This was a key factor that solidified my decision to join, and I'm looking forward to meeting many more of you in the weeks to come. I am Veera Thalluri and I would like to introduce myself to you all. I am going to start my job as Senior Application Administrator - Directory Services at Discount Tire and I am excited to dive in. I know we'll be working closely together on many projects, so I just wanted to reach out and introduce myself virtually for now.
I did my Masters in Computer Science & Engineering and have over 10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer (Windows, AD, VMWare, OKTA). My recent project was with 84Lumber. Personal side: I am happily married and have a 2 year old son. In my free time I mostly spend time with my family and enjoy watching and playing cricket with friends.

Jason Wheeler has been in the IT industry since the mid '90s. For the last 15 years, he focused on Information Technology security, but he also has experience in System Administration and Networking. Jason has a Master's degree in Information Technology, a BS in Cybersecurity, and has earned many certifications. What keeps him humble is knowing that technology changes all the time, and he needs to continue learning. When Jason is not tinkering on a computer, he enjoys spending time with his son. They enjoy putting together Legos and doing outdoor activities such as camping and fishing.
