What is the Tour de Cure?

The Tour de Cure is an annual fundraising event for the American Diabetes Association (ADA). This event raises money for research, advocacy, children’s summer camps, programs and education concerning diabetes. Participants may walk, run, ride or virtually participate in the Tour de Cure event. You can help make a difference in the lives of people living with diabetes.

Each year approximately 1.5 million Americans are diagnosed with diabetes. Over 34 million Americans have diabetes and another 84 million Americans have prediabetes. Many people are unaware they have prediabetes and don’t realize their risk of developing type 2 diabetes. To see if you are at risk for diabetes you can take the diabetes risk test, http://diabetes.org/risk-test/discounttire.
